Our heart's desire is to have an intimate fellowship with our Lord because He is our greatest love,and when you love some one, you always want to have a conversation with him/her. the only way we can reach heaven is through prayer but we always fail to see the importance of the sacred act. In this page, i would like to impart with you the basic knowledgeand revelation of our Loving Father about prayer.
What is a prayer?
Prayer is the only way to reach our Almighty Father in heaven. you can not interact with Him on your physical aspect because He is a Spirit. Spirit-to-spirit is the only way to have a conversation with Him. You have your spirit and with the power of prayer through our Lord Jesus Christ, you can reach heaven.
Praying is the act of communicating with the Lord. Communication is a continuous process wherein there is an encoder and decoder. The one passes the message while the other one interprets it and gives its feedback. Same as in the process of prayer. you send your message to our Lord then He answers back. To hear His answer, we should be sensitive enough to know His voice. And that requires a deep relationship with Him.
Isn’t it easy to determine the voice of your mother?
Well, it’s simply because you grew-up with her. Day-by-day, you hear her voice. You know what will make her laugh at the top of her voice and you also know what will make her cry badly. It is all because of your deep relationship with her. Since you know her insights, you already know what will be her answer or decision whenever you would ask something from her.
Same with our Lord, through Bible reading and hearing His words, you will know Him more and more. You will be able to determine His will in your life and you will be sensitive enough to hear even His softest voice.
Is there a right and wrong prayer?

Is there a right and wrong prayer?
To answer it directly, Yes, there is a right and wrong prayer, but God doesn’t require us to discern it instantly. It is normal to commit mistakes at first but as you go on, praying and studying who God is, you will be aware on the right and wrong prayers. You will certainly know if it is the will of God or it is just your self interests.
In Luke 11:1, a disciple asked Jesus to teach them to pray and our Lord Jesus taught them to do so. you just have to be bold enough to ask God to lead and teach you to pray, so that everything that your mouth or mind will say are in consensus to His will.When you pray, there is something really going on in the spiritual realm that your physical eyes aren’t be able to see. God is molding your hearts as you communicate with Him.

Constant and intimate communication is the only key to have a bold and deep relationship with anybody. If you lose that constant communication with your best bud, you will also lose the closeness you have, right? You wouldn’t know their latest stories, their recent likes and dislikes, and the news in their lives. That complicates it all, and those are the reasons of having wide gaps between you and your used-to-be best friend.
Same with our Lord God, through prayer, you can communicate with him. With an intimate and constant communication(prayer) with Him, you will know and learn what are His likes and dislikes, what will give joy to His heart and what are His will and plans for you. If you know all these, then God will direct and reconstruct your prayers. He will teach you the right prayers, and because you know Him better, you are certain on what petitions He will approve and what will be rejected. Your connection with Him will help you think the way He does; will guide you to plan your life according to what He wants.

Right prayers are the ones that God answers, these prayers are not for His sake but for your own goodness. That’s how much God loves you. He teaches you to pray the right petitions for the wellness of your entire life because God sees the whole -every aspect and even the smallest detail- possible outcome of everything that you desire for yourself.
Wrong prayers are often self-driven prayers, and all the “wants” are often the wrong petitions.
We christians should develop a deep relationship with our Lord for in Him alone our soul and spirit will find rest. And we can only achieve that through PRAYER.
